Plot3D is one of the rare test cases where the Intel DRI driver regresses quite substantially compared to Mesa 9.1.6, but this may be due to additional GL3 functionality being now properly implemented.

The intensive OpenGL Furmark workload saw about a 10% performance improvement on Mesa 9.2.0.

GpuTest's Triangle OpenGL sample workload saw the largest performance improvement out of Mesa 9.2.0 with the Intel Haswell performance nearly doubling.

Mesa 9.2.0 will be on Ubuntu 13.10 for those not using the proprietary AMD/NVIDIA graphics drivers. Besides the OpenGL performance improvements there are a lot of other new features.
