Cryptsetup benchmark with settings of PBKDF2-sha512. Ubuntu x86-64-v3 was the fastest.

Cryptsetup for measuring the system's cryptography performance did benefit in select tests.

Darktable benchmark with settings of Test: Boat, Acceleration: CPU-only. Ubuntu x86-64-v3 was the fastest.
Darktable benchmark with settings of Test: Masskrug, Acceleration: CPU-only. Ubuntu x86-64-v3 was the fastest.
Darktable benchmark with settings of Test: Server Room, Acceleration: CPU-only. Ubuntu x86-64-v3 was the fastest.

Darktable as obtained from the respective Ubuntu archive did yield some performance benefits with the experimental Ubuntu x86-64-v3 offering.

With the GEGL library obtained from the Ubuntu archive, some of the imaging operations for this Generic Graphics Library enjoyed nice speed-ups with the Ubuntu x86-64-v3 build.
