Initial Benchmarks Of The Spectre "SWAPGS" Mitigation Performance Impact

In other workloads hit more severely by the likes of Meltdown, Spectre, Zombieload, and Foreshadow, the SWAPGS mitigation impact was either not noticeable or just an additional 1% or so.

The Apache web server performance did appear to be lightly impacted by the SWAPGS kernel patching.

Thankfully the web browser performance in common benchmarks there didn't appear to be affected by the SWAPGS mitigations, unlike the other vulnerability mitigations.
