When starting off with 1080p at low quality settings with OpenGL, surprisingly the Radeon RX 480 took the cake which strangely came out ahead of the R9 Fury. In the CPU-bound scenario it looks like there might be some odd behavior by RadeonSI, but their CPU driver overhead optimizations appear to be paying off based upon finally seeing Radeon take a first place finish in a CPU-bound test.

When running with Vulkan though, the Radeon hardware on RADV were slower -- this time the RX 480 slower than a GTX 1050 Ti and the R9 Fury less than a GTX 1050. But overall the Vulkan performance in this CPU-bound scenario is much higher than OpenGL with both the AMD and NVIDIA tests.

When running with low quality settings at 4K, the R9 Fury and RX 480 were running just ahead of the GeForce GTX 1060 with OpenGL.

With the 4K low quality Vulkan runs, the NVIDIA performance was faster with Vulkan over OpenGL for the same quality settings. But the Radeon hardware on RADV had lost a few frames.
