Mixing with the beer, food, and other patrons is the music. During the day it's common for most of the tents to play traditional Bavarian music, but at the night it becomes much more lively. During the night, some of the popular hits (at least in recent years) include Summer of '69, Take Me Home, Na Na Na, Ring of Fire, Smoke On The Water, and the always-popular Hey Baby. Fliegerlied and "Joana, Du geile Sau" are two of the wonderful yet traditional songs when drinking Augustiner at Oktoberfest. Below are these two songs for reference, thanks to YouTube, but they were not recorded at Oktoberfest.

Even beyond those various features of Oktoberfest, there's also carnival rides and other activities for families outside of the tents. There's bumper cars, shooting games, rides, a roller coaster, and other entertainment for the children (and for some adults, after consuming enough alcohol). There's also various food stands serving bratwursts and other German dishes.
