F2FS File-System Shows Hope, Runs Against Btrfs & EXT4
F2FS delivered the fastest results for FS-Mark and now for Dbench too. Unfortunately though it seems it isn't syncing the data to the disk as rigorously as Btrfs and EXT4. While the other file-systems were in order (sans JFS), the Dbench disk performance results of 569MB/s for this Serial ATA SSD are out of order.
The IOzone read performance for F2FS was in line with EXT4. Btrfs and EXT3 were the slowest of the pact with the set of file-systems benchmarked from the Linux 3.8 kernel.
