When measuring the time to launch xterm with having disk reads happening in the background, Btrfs was performing much worse than the others except when it came to the RAID0 performance. Though RAID0 in this test is a bit of an outlier for this test case with it performing much worse than the single drive tests in all configurations except for Btrfs. EXT4 and F2FS were picking up wins in this testing at the other RAID levels.

When switching to a mix of reads and writes in the background while launching xterm, F2FS continued picking up the most wins for this Samsung SSD RAID testing. When it came to the single drive testing, XFS was the fastest.

With the other startup time tests, the Flash-Friendly File-System tended to lead most often. Btrfs generally was in last, even with its native RAID capabilities and SSD optimizations.
