Linux 4.0 Hard Drive Comparison With EXT4 / Btrfs / XFS / NTFS / NILFS2 / ReiserFS
The initial create test for compile bench marked another win for EXT4 followed by XFS and then Btrfs.
The main takeaway from PostMark is just the significantly lower performance out of the (FUSE-based) NTFS and the aging ReiserFS.
