Intel Core i7 7700K Linux Benchmarks

Himeno is about 8% faster on the i7-7700K than the next fastest CPU, the E3-1280 v5. The E3-1280 v5 is a quad-core CPU with Hyper Threading and clocks to 3.7GHz with its base frequency and 4.0GHz for its turbo mode.

The Core i7 7700K was the fastest with our Linux kernel compilation test, clocking in at just over 90 seconds.

The Core i7 4960X with its greater thread count let it outperform the i7-7700K for the C-Ray multi-threaded ray-tracer.

The Stockfish chess engine maintained a narrow lead with the i7-7700K.
