In the GUIMark3 benchmarks, Chrome 79 had a narrow lead.

In the end there wasn't much difference in performance from Firefox 71 to the newly released Firefox 72. At least for the Ice Lake graphics on Linux, WebRender wasn't helping much unlike our usual Radeon Linux graphics tests with Firefox -- I'll have some tests there shortly. Of the tests ran, Chrome 79 was in first place 72% of the time.
