Benchmarking Deepin 2014 With DDE 2.0 Using Linux Games

From this testing using Intel HD Graphics with their Mesa 10.1 3D driver, there was effectively no difference between Ubuntu's Unity, GNOME Shell, and Xfce desktop environments compared to Deepin's 2014 DDE 2.0 desktop. Of course, that shouldn't be a real surprise given that past Intel Linux graphics tests have found little differences between the different desktops / window managers using the recent OpenGL drivers (here's a six-way 2D/3D comparison from March). Additionally, Deepin's DDE desktop is using the Compiz window manager, the same as Unity.

Coming up soon will be the more interesting desktop benchmarks to compare the power / CPU / memory usage of the different desktop environments, etc with other factors that should be more interesting in looking at this HTML5 desktop environment against the more traditional Linux desktops.
