For artists / imaging workloads measured by GraphicsMagick, Inkscape, The GIMP, DCRAW, Darktable, RSVG, GEGL, and AVIFENC, the Ryzen 3 3300X was 10% faster.

If interested in OpenJDK Java performance, testing with Bork, DaCapo Bench, Java Gradle Perf, and Renaissance put the Ryzen 3 3300X at nearly 8% faster than the Core i3 10100.

The Ryzen 3 3300X had a huge lead over the i3-10100 in the linear algebra tests of MT-DGEMM and AMG.

For machine learning related workloads with Numpy, DeepSpeech, SciKit-Learn, MLPack, Numenta NAB, PlaidML, Intel oneDNN / MKL-DNN, and Lc0, the Ryzen 3 3300X was more than 20% faster than the Intel competition.

The Ryzen 3 3300X was great with molecular dynamics workloads including NAMD, GROMACS, CP2K, NWCHEM, CloverLeaf, LAMMPS, MiniFE, Lulesh, and Pennant.

Even when looking at the performance of Intel oneAPI software components like Embree, Open Image Denoise, and OpenVKL, the Ryzen 3 3300X was the stronger processor.

Under different productivity workloads including LibreOffice, Octave, Inkscape, GIMP, GEGL, and RSVG, the Ryzen 3 3300X was just under 5% faster.
