AOCC 4.0 was showing some nice performance gains with the Liquid-DSP open-source digital signal processing (DSP) software.

ASTC texture compression was slightly faster with AOCC 4.0 and overall the LLVM/Clang compilers was yielding measurably better performance than GCC.

The NCNN neural network software was enjoying faster performance when built by AOCC 4.0.

Tencent's TNN neural network software was also collecting some performance wins with the AOCC 4.0 built binary.
