In web browser benchmarks the Ryzen 8000G series is noticeably faster than prior generation Ryzen 5000G series processors while the Ryzen 7000 series and 14th Gen Intel Core processors were battling it out for the top positions.

The AMD Zen 4 CPUs continue to dominate in OpenVINO and other workloads effectively making use of AVX-512. Even without the Ryzen AI setup, the AMD Zen 4 processors show much greater potential than the Intel Raptor Lake Refresh processors.

It will be interesting though to see how the AMD Ryzen AI software story plays out over the long-term as well as when the Intel NPU comes to desktop processors.
