The very strong performance of the Ryzen 5 8500G at such little power use would make for an interesting edge inference type applications,

The level of OpenVINO AI performance while pulling just 50~60 Watts was terrific. I have to wonder if AMD is planning a SKU similar to the Ryzen 5 8500G for low-power AI servers / edge inferencing. There is the EPYC 8004 Siena but currently no parts in the 65 Watts or less space. Or some similar all Zen 4C core Ryzen would be very interesting given these results of the 8500G.

The Ryzen 5 8500G results were very interesting as well for Whisper.cpp.
