The final product we have for our 5-way radiator round-up is 12cm Big Radiator that of course was provided by our dear friend Thermaltake who has always been a close sponsor of Phoronix. Thermaltake has been a big name in the PC enthusiast market and they nearly provide almost any equipment imaginable. They make high-end cases, CPU coolers, fans, lights, hard drive enclosures, and water-cooling components. Recently they have been increasing their water-cooling product line and they introduced a high-end ATX enclosure named the Tai-Chi. Also covering their water-cooling line-up is their Tide Water, Tribe, Rocket, and AquaBay M3 among many other products. Below are Thermaltake’s specifications for the 12cm Big Radiator (CL-W0002).

· 12cm big Radiator: All fins and tubes are made of aluminum
· Quick Install Connector: Saving your time to install device conveniently
· Low noise VR fan: 120x120x25 mm VR fan (1300~ 2400RPM)
· 122 x 35 x 166mm dimensions

Like the CoolRad 12T and the Black Ice Xtreme I, the Big Radiator is designed for use with a single 120mm fan while unlike the copper and brass construction of the Dual Heater Core, the CL-W0002 is made of copper and aluminum construction. Like the other radiators we have looked at so far, the Big Water provides connections for 3/8” and 1/2” ID tubing along with the possibility of 1/4" connectors. Also included with the Thermaltake product is an expansion slot fan controller, 120mm fan, mounting screws, and the quick install connectors. The fan speed can vary from 1300 to 2800RPM while the airflow ranges from 38.6 to 93.7CFM. Although the 12cm Big Water may not look as elaborate as some of other radiators in our testing, Thermaltake has certainly been in the industry for a great while so it will be interested to see precisely how the radiator is able to perform in our tests.
