The Rodinia results were quite mixed but Ubuntu 16.10, Fedora 24, and Clear Linux tended to be the front-runners -- all of which are using GCC 6 by default.

For some tests there were barely any performance difference between the different Linux distributions, even with some distributions (i.e. Clear Linux) applying their own aggressive compiler flags by default.

In the tests where DragonFlyBSD 4.6 and FreeBSD 11.0 were running, they didn't tend to be at the front of the group, at least when looking at the stock performance.
