Thunderbolt Support Still Has Problems On Linux

There were some Thunderbolt Display problems, while now the display and other functionality of high-end Thunderbolt displays like those from Apple are working aside from some cases still of high CPU utilization. There's also been other random bugs with Thunderbolt Linux support for different devices. The news to report on today is that more fixes/workarounds are landing for Thunderbolt in the Linux 3.8 kernel. The latest fixes to hit the kernel are for Thunderbolt support on the Acer Aspire S5 and Intel DZ77RE-75K. These patches can be found here.
