With Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Linux with OpenGL, the Radeon RX 5700 XT was able to come out just ahead of a GeForce RTX 2080. Not bad at all with the RTX 2080 non-SUPER still going for well above $600 USD compared to the Radeon RX 5700 XT at around $400 USD. The RX 5700 for CS:GO was coming in just above the RX Vega 64, which shows more driver optimizations could be warranted, but even there the RadeonSI performance stands up strong against NVIDIA for this Valve game.

DiRT Rally 2.0 is run on Linux under Steam Play with DXVK and still appears more RADV driver work could be warranted with the RX 5700 XT coming in around the RX Vega 64 performance level that is only competing with the RTX 2060.

Hitman 2 is another Steam Play + DXVK game on Linux but here the RX 5700 series performed much better with the RX 5700 matching the RTX 2070 while the RX 5700 XT was just frames away from the RTX 2080.

Even with ultra quality settings at 1440p, Hitman 2 on Linux was showing the RX 5700 running with the RTX 2070 and the RX 5700 XT with the RTX 2080.
