Nouveau Re-Clocking Is Way Faster, Shows Much Progress For Open-Source NVIDIA

It will be awhile before everything is all settled, but the Nouveau development crew continues to make excellent progress given their limited resources and lack of support from NVIDIA Corp.

These Nouveau results are quite promising, especially considering that the cards only hitting "0a" aren't even in their highest performance states. Stay tuned for more benchmarks as the Nouveau open-source NVIDIA Linux graphics support continues to mature. Read the article from earlier this week for instructions on how to try re-clocking with the Linux 3.16 kernel, other precautions, etc.
