The Core i9 10980XE offered slightly better Blender performance over the i9-7980XE, but the 2970WX was still ahead.
The Intel X-Series CPUs did perform the best in one of the scenes with the Appleseed renderer.
The Core i9 10980XE did offer the best performance with the LuxCoreRender rendering on the CPU.
