First up were some Vulkan compute neural network benchmarks for the work of applying "super resolution" image upscaling to reference photos. Across all three tests that were atop Tencent's NCNN, the Windows performance was faster but it wasn't too bad of a showing out of RADV+ACO Vulkan as used here considering they provided launch-day RDNA2 / GFX10.3 support even without the direct support of AMD. Over time and now with RDNA 2 ISA documentation being available, RADV+ACO should be seeing more optimizations for these new GPUs.

For Unigine Heaven that works nicely as a cross-platform and reliable OpenGL benchmark, the OpenGL performance on Linux with the RadeonSI Gallium3D driver was noticeably faster than the OpenGL performance on Windows 10....

But if switching over to the Direct3D 11 renderer for Unigine Heaven on Windows, ultimately that performance beats out the OpenGL performance on both Windows and Linux.
