ROCm 2.0 still isn't working out too well with the Darktable RAW photography software's OpenCL code path.

LuxMark is one of the OpenCL test cases where Radeon GPUs/drivers always perform very well and less so for NVIDIA (in this case, the RTX 2070 / RTX 2080 having similar performance). The RX Vega 56/64 came out just ahead of those Turing GPUs while the RX 590 matched the GTX 1070 series. Though only the Luxball HDR scene with LuxMark was working with ROCm 2.0 as the other scenes hang indefinitely while compiling the OpenCL kernels.

The cl-mem OpenCL memory write performance with Vega is very good thanks to the HBM2 memory.

The memory copy performance was coming in line with expectations.
