Throughout the year NVIDIA has been working on improving its X Render extension support and this has been quite valuable for improving the 2D performance in many instances. The GTK performance with the more recent NVIDIA drivers from this year has certainly shown better performance. Between the 171.05 and 180.11 Beta release, the GtkComboBox performance improved by about 30%. With the 180.xx series, the GtkDrawingArea Pixbufs performance was improved by many times. Lastly, the GtkRadioButton performance was faster by about 30% as well.
