NVIDIA 470 EOL Drivers For Kepler Still Obliterating Open-Source Alternative

Fortunately the NVIDIA R470 driver series will remain supported with new kernel/X.Org compatibility to 2024 so those still rocking out with Kepler era graphics processors can continue using that driver if performance is important.

The Nouveau performance with Kepler GPUs can be usable for some software when manually re-clocking the hardware, but still tends to be a ways off from the NVIDIA performance.
