Mesa 8.1-devel On Radeon Gallium3D

The less-benchmarked Smokin Guns and Tremulous, although based on the ioquake3 engine too, still are not at their Mesa 7.10 performance levels right now with the stock Mesa 8.1-devel. For a look at the image quality, below is a comparison of Mesa 8.1-devel against Mesa 7.10 (the first usable release branch for R600g on the Radeon HD 4870). For reference there is also the image quality comparisons of Radeon Gallium3D vs. Catalyst and Nouveau Gallium3D vs. NVIDIA.

More benchmarks are coming for Radeon, Intel, and Nouveau from this latest Mesa code.
