Intel Pentium G4400: Benchmarking A ~$60 Skylake Processor

Starting off with John The Ripper's cryptography tests, the Pentium G4400 was just slower than a Core i5 2520M (mobile Sandy Bridge) but faster than the Core i5 530. It came out faster than the Core i3 5010U Broadwell as well as the Haswell-based Pentium G3258.

The 7-Zip positioning was similar to that of the John The Ripper Blowfish run.

With the C-Ray multi-threaded ray-tracer, the Pentium G4400 performed fairly decent: it even beat out all the AMD APUs, including the A10-7870K Godavari. The Pentium G4400 remained measurably faster than the Haswell Pentium G3258 and other low-end AMD and Intel parts.
