AMDGPU Linux 4.5 DRM Tuning Tests With DRI2/DRI3, PowerPlay, Semaphores, Scheduler
Under Team Fortress 2, enabling semaphores hurt the performance as did disabling the GPU scheduler.
With the open-source Xonotic game, the performance rose when switching from DRI2 to DRI3. It also looks like Xonotic benefited slightly from the enabling of semaphores. When the scheduler was disabled, the performance dropped as expected.
