AMD's RadeonSI Gallium3D Is Improving, But Catalyst Is Much Better
Xonotic with low quality settings had allowed the latest open-source "RadeonSI" driver to run at around 80% the performance of the Catalyst blob.
Xonotic with high quality settings had benefited from the Linux 3.12 kernel and enabling dynamic power management. In its best state, the RadeonSI performance was 85% the speed of Catalyst.
Xonotic with ultra quality settings had yielded similar results to the high quality settings.
