Through demanding OpenGL demos with Unigine and then the Xonotic OpenGL first person shooter with its similar capabilities under Windows and Linux, the Intel OpenGL Windows driver was still delivering higher frame-rates over Ubuntu 19.10 and the various Mesa driver combinations.

One of the areas where the Intel graphics did outperform Windows was with the X-Plane 11 flight simulator.

For most of the (at least benchmark friendly) Steam Play game titles, the Iris Plus Graphics from the Core i7-1065G7 still weren't powerful enough to handle them beyond 1080p low quality settings, so the graphics testing shifted to desktop/workstation graphics tasks where the Ice Lake laptops will likely see more exposure.
