At the rear of the case are four expansion slots, a standard I/O panel area, and a standard power supply mount. With this revision to the SG01 lineup, there is much greater ventilation area above the expansion slots where on the original model was a 60mm exhaust fan. The SG01W also supports SilverStone's FX121 cross-flow fan to provide additional cooling towards the rear of the motherboard with the CPU and VRMs.

With the exception of the fan bracket, the inside of the SG01W is quite similar to the original SG01 version. The SG01 fan bracket has one fan installed toward the rear of the expansion slot area, while there is a second mount to install a 80mm fan. This fan bracket is secured to the middle support bar as well as to the frame of the chassis using a couple of screws. With the SG01B-W, it is very nice to see the inside of the chassis painted black to appear more aesthetically pleasing. Next to the 3.5" HDD bay area was the second 80mm fan that came preinstalled. At the bottom of the chassis, the SG01W has slightly raised foot stands.
