First up was Counter-Strike: Global Offensive where the RX 580 Polaris card was 30% faster using RadeonSI while the RX Vega 64 was 20% faster with this open-source driver over AMD's older OpenGL binary driver.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, one of the more demanding current OpenGL Linux games, was also much faster on RadeonSI than the Radeon Software "PRO" OpenGL driver.

It's been since last year that RadeonSI began running at the same speed and then outperforming the Radeon Software closed-source OpenGL driver for most Linux games. With these 1080p ultra quality tests for Deus Ex: MD, the RX Vega 64 goes from basically being unplayable on Radeon Software 18.10 to running around a 60 FPS average with a minimum frame-rate that is six times higher than the PRO driver stack.

While under DiRT Rally, there was a hang with the RX Vega 64 on the PRO driver stack where as RadeonSI was working fine. With the RX 580, it was 48% faster on RadeonSI Gallium3D from Mesa 18.2.
