Everything was packaged well. While the N2820 CPU carries a tray price of $107 USD, Intel is selling the DN2820FYK Kit for just about $130. While you still need RAM and a disk drive, this is quite the bargain for a latest-generation Atom. Its price also better competes with the many ARM development boards on the market while being housed inside a robust and excellent chassis.

At the top of the NUC is the power button while on the front is a USB 3.0 port and infrared sensor. At the rear of the NUC is the 12V DC power connector, HDMI 1.4a connector, 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet, dual USB 2.0 ports, and a headphone/microphone jack.

On both sides of the NUC are ventilation slots and on one of the sides is a Kensington lock slot.
