It didn't take much time at all to realize Ubuntu 22.04 LTS' 5.15 kernel wasn't carrying the patches of newer kernels for improving Alder Lake hybrid handling on Linux.

Hopefully Ubuntu Jammy's kernel build will end up back-porting some of the fixes to help Alder Lake otherwise those with Intel hybrid CPUs would definitely be best off moving to Linux 5.16~5.17.

Not all workloads with Alder Lake are wrecked on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS out-of-the-box but for well threaded workloads fully leveraging all P and E cores, you should see consistent performance.

But there still are even some code compilation workloads on the Core i9 12900K that were showing gains with Linux 5.16+.
