Amarok 2.0 Media Player Released
Amarok 2.0 wasn't released with KDE 4.0 or KDE 4.1, but it's finally here today. This media player that's very popular with KDE users (and even users of other desktop environments), brings a brand new user-interface, tighter Internet integration, an overhauled scripting API, and migration from the KDE3 to KDE4 framework in this version 2.0 release. The tighter Internet integration yields better support with services like Magnatune, Jamendo, MP3tunes, Last.fm, and Shoutcast.
A detailed entry of the changes to find in Amarok 2.0 can be read about here.
