OpenMandriva Lx 2014 Alpha 2 Released
The release of OpenMandriva Lx 2014 has been pushed back with the beta now moving to the RC1 date and a second alpha release having been made on Friday.
OpenMandriva Lx 2014 Alpha 2 is based upon the Linux 3.12 kernel with a few extra patch-sets, support for using the SquashFS multi-threaded decompressor for its LiveCD has been added, the ARMv7 hard-float version of OpenMandriva now has the Razor-Qt desktop, the 64-bit ARM (AArch64) version is starting to take form, and the X.Org Server has been upgraded to version 1.15 whiele Mesa is at version 10.0.2.
