Linux 3.12-rc2 Kernel Released
Linus Torvalds has announced the release of Linux 3.12-rc2, but it's not overly exciting.
The Linux 3.12 kernel brings some really great features, but now being past the merge window there isn't too much to get excited over. The changes merged in the past week have just been minor regression fixes.
If you're not familiar with the Linux 3.12 kernel features, see our 3.12 feature overview.
The release announcement can be found on the kernel mailing list.
