CrossOver 11.2 Brings New Microsoft Software To Linux

CodeWeavers kicked off the start of a new week by releasing CrossOver 11.2.0, which is based upon Wine 1.4.1 and supports new Microsoft software under Linux and Mac OS X.

Microsoft Visio 2010 and Microsoft Project 2010 can now run under Linux in conjunction with CodeWeavers CrossOver 11.2. Wine 1.4.1 was released less than two weeks ago, which is at the basis of CodeWeavers' product update.

This new release also supports Fedora 17 with UDisks2, better detection of libpng versions (helps out Arch Linux), the zypper package manager on SUSE Linux is now used rather than Yast, and an Ubuntu Software Center un-installation bug has been fixed. For Apple OS X users, CrossOver 11.2.0 introduces support for Mac OS X 10.8 "Mountain Lion", which should be officially released in July.
