First up was Valve's Dota 2 game where for all four graphics cards the out-of-the-box Mesa 20.0 RADV Vulkan driver was faster than the latest AMDVLK driver. But when switching to the ACO compiler back-end were several more FPS achieved. This is also our first time testing RADV ACO on the new RX 5500 XT and that fortunately has been working out very well.

While there have been recent Dawn of War III optimizations for AMDVLK noted in the release notes, the Mesa RADV driver was faster on all of the cards tested (sans Vega issue with RADV using the LLVM back-end, but working fine with ACO). Here there is a very noticeable difference in performance between AMDVLK and RADV ACO.
