Intel Pentium vs. AMD Ryzen 3 Performance For Linux Gaming
The fastest combination tested for the Mad Max game was the Ryzen 3 1200 + NVIDIA GTX 1050 configuration. Vulkan allowed the game at 1080p to run with the default settings at around 60 FPS.
The OpenArena game meanwhile was faster with the GTX 1050 on both of the CPUs but the strongest performance with the Ryzen 3 1200.
The GTX 1050 also had lower peak frame times than the RX 560.
With Valve's Portal game, the Radeon RX 560 delivered the fastest results on both systems.
