In creator applications like Darktable and GIMP, setting the performance mode did help boost the performance some while the power-saver mode was much slower albeit with really nice power-savings if needing to maximize your battery life.

RawTherapee benchmark with settings of Total Benchmark Time. Performance was the fastest.

In the case of the RawTherapee image program, the power saver mode had the Core Ultra 7 155H having an average power draw under load of just 12.6 Watts.

Blender benchmark with settings of Blend File: BMW27, Compute: CPU-Only. Balanced - Default was the fastest.

In the case of the Blender 3D modeling software the EPP setting didn't make much of a difference... For heavy multi-threaded workloads that tended to be the case.

OpenSCAD benchmark with settings of Render: Pistol. Performance was the fastest.
