This is a truly special case and unlike any case we have previously reviewed. However, selling for over $1,000 USD it's also one of the most expensive cases we have reviewed at Phoronix -- possibly only outdone by the KickButtComputers Signature Series Combat custom chassis. If you are looking for a case where price is no barrier but are looking for it to be a centerpiece of attention, look no further than the Cooler Master CSX Series. We are completely stunned by the custom painting done by Smooth Creations. If a gargoyle isn't for you, some of the other CSX cases available are painted as a flaming soccer ball, the shag wagon, warfare, diamond plating, a London double-decker bus, and they can paint your own logo or design on one of the Cooler Master cases. Some of the very custom jobs they have done include work for Final Fantasy XI, Lost Planet, Frontlines: Fuel of War, NVIDIA, and ATI's Ruby. While most aren't able to afford a $1,000+ USD investment into a computer case, but for those that are, we have no complaints about the stunning aesthetics of the Cooler Master CSX products.
