Well, like the Broadwell vs. discrete GPU comparison posted earlier this week, the Core i7 5775C is an incredibly compelling CPU with very powerful integrated graphics. The i7-5775C on its current open-source Linux graphics driver stack is able to measurably outperform AMD's current Kaveri/Godavari offerings on RadeonSI Gallium3D and is a big step-up from the previous high-end Haswell CPUs with HD Graphics 4600, as well as being competition to mid-range discrete GPU offerings. If you wish to see how your own Linux system compares to the results posted today, simply install the Phoronix Test Suite and run phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1507183-BE-THREESOME88.
