            • Problems with linux gaming

I know several problems that might hinder gaming on Linux. First of all LSB 4 is still in development. This is making life of game developers harder. Second I think that SDL have some problems with input(mouse, joystick) on linux. Free drivers for now lacks some of the features, but I believe it will be changing soon.

I also need a beta key.
btw. I hope game will work on open source radeon drivers.

                  • heroes of newerth beta key

Well let's face it. Linux is really a wide open platform for development into the world's pc gaming market. S2 games have jumped in looking sharp, with open minded integration and game play. And seeing linux can run on everything but a toaster (probably not far off with cloud computing) that's a huge market.
I just purhased the Penumbra Collection, thanks to the rss link on Phoronix. So I'm definitely keen on obtaining a beta key for heroes of newerth.

                    Cheers.

S2 Games may not be as well known as id Software or Epic Games, but what distinguishes them from most of the other game companies is that they actually support Linux. With S2 Games' Savage 2, for example they provide a Linux-native game client...
