I still find it a useful feature, when I happen to install Ubuntu, the most annoying thing is that after some time users collect a lot of useless kernels.

Also, why are all of you celebrating when you hear that a company which does a lot of open source work ends up losing money?
I find it ironic that I was called the toxic one for calling people stupid when they can’t seem to see that they’re fighting against someone in the same team.Last edited by lyamc; 09 November 2020, 05:49 PM.

When you say that they should've focused on Wayland instead of Mir, that's like saying Gnome should've focused on Wayland instead of Mutter. It makes no sense.

How about leaving people alone to say what they think, good or bad ?
Why do you say that a lot of Debian packages are made by Canonical devs, is there a list anywhere ?
As far as I know Debian has thousands of packages, seems to me that Canonical doesn't have enough developers to handle "a lot" of packages.
If it's so good why doesn't the most recommended Linux distro (Mint) doesn't use it and they have their own fork among other DEs ?
Even having desktop shortcuts to most used programs and files is too much for the most used desktop.
The kernel management is easy to use, WTF are you talking about ?
Downloading 3-4 .deb files from some website and installing it with something like dpkg -i *.deb is what you call easy ?
Do you think a new comer will know where to download the new kernel from and what command to use to install it or you're talking about using a third party tool like Mainline kernel upgrader ?
Snap bring a lot of software, again what are you talking about, what can be done with it and could not be done with .deb, .AppImage of Flatpak, really?
