Is there a wayland compositor with blue light reduction in the evening? I want that.

If you started removing everything from X that's broken you'd end up with Wayland.

As for things such as hybrid graphics, I just disavow of them (just like how I disavow HiDPI), considering how broken most implementations are on the hardware level, and VSYNC is pretty much perfect with X if you know how to set vblank_mode (or use a compositor if you really hate yourself). I think keeping the flexibility (as well as the name and the cool original logo) is what's important for me. The fact that Wayland tries to "secure" itself down to the point where retaining basic X functionality (can't move the pointer or keep it inside a window, desktop recording is complex) requires implementing a set of extensions in the window manager (think of how this is supposed to work with suckless approach to things, an equivalent of dwm would be completely broken with Xwayland stuff) is just sad.

Also new Radeon cards are on their way, even if they are rumoured to be to be less impressive than the first rumours out there.
