i wish we could vote on which bugs they should resolve first :]
is there any way to know what are they working on right now?
i'm looking forward to having my card working with opensource radeon driver, though. (i have r500 card). i don't care too much for 3d acceleration, but 2d acceleration is a must for me.

Now that that is out of the way... I really hope this is the one to do it.
It's so bad it's not even funny. I want my 3d acceleration back!Michael Larabel

8.33.6 with 2.6.20
Soo... i guess nobody got it running with 2.6.20 ? How sad...
$ sudo module-assistant build,install fglrx
gives me...
...
SUBDIRS=/usr/src/modules/fglrx modules
make[1]: Betrete Verzeichnis '/usr/src/linux-2.6.20-rc6'
CC [M] /usr/src/modules/fglrx/firegl_public.o
/usr/src/modules/fglrx/firegl_public.c:198: error: expected declaration specifiers or ?...? before ?mlock?
/usr/src/modules/fglrx/firegl_public.c:198: error: expected declaration specifiers or ?...? before ?addr? ...
This is a 2.6.20 specific error, or not?

The Linux 2.6.20 kernel requires a patch for fglrx. I mentioned a link to the patch in another thread in this forum, but if you can't find it let me know and I'll relocate it.Michael Larabel
