Intel HD Sandy/Ivy Bridge Linux Graphics Performance On Ubuntu 13.10

Before getting to the interesting Intel OpenGL Linux results, first are a few Qt4 benchmarks using QGears2 on the four Intel CPUs. Intel SNA was the 2D acceleration architecture used throughout all of the testing.

The QGears2 Qt benchmarks aren't terribly exciting. The only item to note here is that the 2D performance was better for the IvyBridge-based HD 2500 and HD 4000 graphics cores over the SandyBridge-based HD 2000 and HD 3000 graphics when using the Linux 3.11 kernel, Mesa 9.2, and xf86-video-intel 2.21.14.

Turning to the 3D/OpenGL benchmarks are where things get more interesting...
