Prey ends up being more CPU bottlenecked at 1920 x 1080 with the newer, higher-end graphics cards. The reason for pointing it out though is that the Radeon R7 260X performance is abysmal on the Mesa 10.1 + Linux 3.13 kernel configuration. While it was using hardware acceleration by RadeonSI and not LLVMpipe, the performance was horrible throughout all of the benchmarks ran. It's not a hardware issue with the Radeon R7 260X as with the Catalyst driver the performance of this recently reviewed graphics card did quite okay under Linux. The R7 260X may come down to re-clocking issues but we will see when testing it under the Linux 3.14 kernel.

These Unigine Sanctuary results come out as expected sans the R7 260X performance, but what will be real interesting is how the graphics performance now compares to the Catalyst binary driver.
