With Dota 2 there wasn't much difference besides the "PRO" stack yielding much slower performance on the RX 5700 series along with Radeon VII. Interestingly the RX 6800 saw noticeably lower performance on the PRO stack like the older generations while the RX 6800 XT performed closer to the RADV performance level. From Mesa 20.2 to 20.3 wasn't much difference for the RDNA 2 cards.

With the F1 2017 racing game, the latest in the F1 franchise having a native Linux game port, the "open" drivers continued performing better than the AMDGPU-PRO stack across the board. Interestingly for the RX 6800 it was seeing higher performance on the Mesa 20.2 release over 20.3-devel, but making it rather odd was the RX 6800 performance in that case was almost to the RX 6800 XT performance level... This was an anomaly just seen for this game and one other.
